TURNKEY launches new GRC as a Service offering known as Bedrock

Risk management specialist enables organisations to tackle global change

12 June 2017; London – Risk management consultancy Turnkey Consulting has today launched Bedrock, its new GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) as a Service offering.

Bedrock enables IT systems to be optimised in the face of increasing global change. External factors – heightened enterprise risk, such as cyber attacks and data protection legislation and the growth in data – contribute to a significant rise in the risk faced by organisations.

This increased risk is reflected in current research. 26% of organisations were breached worldwide last year, according to the 2017 Thales Data Report undertaken in conjunction with 451 Research, leading 30% of respondents to classify their organisations as very or extremely vulnerable.

Enterprises adopting Bedrock can improve their management of this risk and close the capability gap by deploying SAP® solutions for GRC securely from the cloud, supported by IT, security and risk management experts. Costs are based on a shared, subscription model, and therefore intended to be affordable and predictable.

“Today’s organisations operate in an increasingly challenging environment. It makes commercial sense to outsource the operation of increasingly complex business processes and technology to external providers who are experts in their specific field,” says Richard Hunt, managing director at Turnkey Consulting. “Bedrock provides organisations with the capabilities of SAP solutions for GRC that are suited to their individual needs and budgets, while helping them benefit from the latest SAP software as well as Turnkey’s in-depth IT, security and risk management credentials.”

Kevin McCollom, group vice president for SAP GRC Solutions, comments: “An increasing number of customers want business technology delivered via the cloud as a managed service. GRC is no exception, and Turnkey Consulting is already a key SAP partner in this field. The technical and business expertise of Turnkey’s consultants and practitioners adds value to SAP’s GRC tools. Turnkey’s launch of Bedrock will enable customers to quickly realise value from the software and is a milestone in the range of solutions available to the GRC market worldwide.”

Bedrock builds on an innovative cloud-based GRC solution developed by Turnkey Consulting in 2015 to provide the license fee for these SAP solutions, hosted infrastructure and system maintenance on an outsourced basis.

The specific Bedrock services available to customers on an outsourced basis are: GRC technical support and maintenance, including upgrades, patches, system improvements and a helpdesk facility; process support for SAP solutions for GRC, covering controls execution and automation, incident management and audit activity, risk monitoring and reporting; GRC and risk management consulting.
