“As one of the first organisations to adapt to cloud-based SAP IAG, we are proud to be leading the way with Turnkey in simplifying the governance of user access in a complex corporate cloud environment. Turnkey’s identity and access management expertise, effective communications and guidance ensured our access authorisations and governance project was a success”

A centralised view of users and their access to corporate systems helps ensure companies remain compliant and well prepared for external audits, as well as keeping costs down. At the Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Egypt, the complexity of managing around 50 locations and maintaining effective security controls and user access authorisations was becoming
increasingly challenging.
For their migration to an SAP landscape, the company initially engaged the services of their SAP S/4 HANA system integrator to design and build access across all sites and approximately 3,000 system users. However, it did not have governance over the security of roles and was facing exposure to potential risk and breaches of compliance. It did not have the necessary visibility of which individuals were accessing their systems and from which locations in Egypt.
Having recently deployed SAP S/4HANA Cloud, the company accepted a recommendation from SAP to implement
the latest Cloud Identity Access Governance software tool (SAP IAG). This tool is designed to streamline and govern identity and access authorisations in complex cloud environments.
Turnkey Consulting was engaged by Coca-Cola Bottling of Egypt as the systems integrator to deploy IAG. Its reputation, depth of knowledge and experience in delivering best practice for IAG globally, and its focus on minimising customer risk, were some of the key reasons for this choice.
Turnkey rolled the project out in two phases, with the first phase being the implementation of IAG into the company’s cloud environment to provide the automated provisioning for user access controls.
The second phase is a remediation roadmap that runs full risk analysis carried out by Turnkey on the CocaCola connected S/4HANA system. The aim is to develop a roadmap of actions to get the roles to a clean state. It includes quick wins and critical risks to target, business process prioritisation, knowledge transfer and ongoing support.
With close collaboration between the client and Turnkey’s technical delivery lead, the SAP-integrated IAG solution successfully went live, following SAP’s own standards, and is provisioning the right access controls accurately to users across the organisation. Its dashboard-driven user interfaces are easy to use and embeds the uniformity and standardisation that the company required to dynamically and automatically manage its access controls and governance.
This is the latest IAG technology offering from SAP built on the SAP Business Technology Platform. As such we’re one of the first major companies in Egypt to deploy it. We worked closely with Turnkey’s technical delivery lead who expertly navigated this new software and its challenges for a successful implementation”. Moustafa Raslan, DBA Team Leader at Coca Cola.
