Simon is an experienced SAP enterprise GRC and SAP security solution architect, having designed, reviewed and implemented SAP Security and compliance solutions for a number of major blue chip clients.

As a Director, he focusses on business development and commercial recovery across the business. In parallel, Simon leads Turnkey Consulting’s global GRC delivery capability from the UK as well as being a much-sought-after architect for client troubleshooting and expertise on-demand requests. 

As well as strong consulting skills, Simon continues to develop technical expertise throughout over 13 years’ experience working with SAP solutions. Whilst specialising in SAP Enterprise GRC solutions having worked on numerous different GRC v10.x implementations across Access Controls, Process Controls and Risk Management, Simon is also experienced in SAP Fraud Management and Audit Management products. Integrating these elements into a wider SAP application management and business strategy from an operational and IT controls perspective is a key strength.
Simon is a certified SAP Netweaver Consultant for SAP Security & GRC Access Controls and a certified instructor for the complete SAP GRC Training curriculum in the UK. He is also a certified SAP Strategic Expert Partner for the GRC solution area and is actively engaged in supporting pre-sales activities on behalf of SAP through the close partner relationship between Turnkey Consulting and SAP. 
Simon has written articles for several industry publications and is in demand as a speaker at international GRC conferences. Simon contributes regularly to thought leadership in the GRC and security areas. He has an active blog and is a regular contributor and author of articles in both online and printed media publications. Simon has also co-authored a book on the SAP GRC Access Controls certification.

Other Interests

Outside of work Simon is an accomplished trumpet and cornet player, having played for brass bands ranked in the world’s top 50 including appearances in the National Brass Band Championship Finals at the Royal Albert Hall. He regularly competes in international contests and has been invited to tour in numerous countries with some of the top bands in the UK.

Simon is also an avid Rugby Union supporter and combines this with his musical abilities by playing regularly in the stands for London Irish matches and also having played the national anthems on the pitch at Twickenham during the 6 Nations 2012.

Although not playing as regularly as he should, Simon enjoys most sports including golf, football, squash, swimming and motorsport.
