Large-Scale SAP Implementation: Australian Engineering and Services Group

A leading Australia-based engineering and services group with more than 30,000 employees in four primary business units (infrastructure, resources, property, and communications) commissioned Turnkey Consulting to design and deliver security and controls to its large-scale SAP implementation.

The complex, yet critical project included the phased deployment and roll-out of ECC6, Enterprise Portals, CRM, BI7, and HR across six separate divisions over a 12 month period. This highly sophisticated environment also included integration to a number of legacy systems located across the business, as well as multiple integration points within core SAP solutions.

Because Turnkey’s consultants have experience working with similar implementations, they were able to effectively manage all aspects of the security rollout from start to finish. Key stakeholders were proactively engaged to ensure delivery of the most effective security solution possible, while business and project leaders received regular updates at every critical stage. Once the project was complete, Turnkey worked to ensure that the company’s internal SAP security support staff understood the security controls so they could efficiently administer the system without assistance.
