Managed service offers flexibility and in-depth expertise
SAP GRC, security and controls specialist, Turnkey Consulting, has launched the industry’s first cloud-based SAP GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) solution. The outsourced managed service will offer customers increased flexibility in how they put the required governance processes in place to manage risk and control and achieve compliance with relevant internal and external requirements. In particular they will benefit the latest GRC technology and expertise without significant up-front investment or the need to maintain an in-house team.
Turnkey Consulting has developed the new offering in response to the increasing demand for flexible ways to use technology. Its managed service solution means that an effective GRC strategy can be implemented on an operational cost basis, rather than requiring capital expenditure. Customers then have access to Turnkey’s team of GRC experts who will handle any functional or technical issues.
The three core SAP GRC modules, Access Controls, Process Controls and Risk Management will initially be available through the cloud offering with SAP’s Fraud and Audit Management on HANA solutions to follow soon.
“Cloud-based software has raised the bar for the provision of technology; organisations now expect access to software solutions and functionality with minimal implementation or maintenance effort” explains Richard Hunt, managing director at Turnkey Consulting. “Our on-demand offering is a milestone in the availability of GRC solutions because it is the first time that customers can use this technology without purchasing it up-front and deploying a highly-skilled team to run it.”
Hunt continues: “We will continue to work with the many enterprises that use the on-premise offering. However, we also want to make SAP’s GRC solutions available to SAP customers with a cloud strategy for new applications. The new offering also allows us to provide these solutions to non-SAP customers who may have been reluctant to deploy GRC as their first SAP software due to support and maintenance overheads.”
Turnkey will work with its offices around the world to provide its managed service offering on a global basis.
